You’re capable, experienced, and completely overwhelmed

I help women founders who have become the bottleneck in their own business make space to think, make clearer decisions, and get back in front of their business

Does this sound familiar?

You're the one at the top. Which means everything routes through you.

The decisions. The direction. The calls no one else can make. The strategy that never quite gets the attention it deserves because everything else got there first.

You're not struggling because you lack capability or vision. You're struggling because there is simply too much in your head - and not enough consistent space to properly think any of it through.

Decisions accumulate. Priorities compete. The strategic work keeps getting pushed to tomorrow. And somewhere along the way, the business stopped feeling like something you're leading — and started feeling like something that's happening to you.

That's not a skills problem. That's a thinking space problem.

I’m Annette Corbett - Thinking Partner for women founders

I've spent my career at the centre of complex, high-stakes work. Over a decade as a senior Legal PA in international law firms - always the person holding the thread, synthesising what was happening across everything, making sure things moved forward under pressure. Then nearly twenty years in the arts as a producer, fundraiser and strategist.

Two very different worlds. But the same function in both: the person at the centre of complexity, making sure nothing fell through the cracks.

That's the work I do now - just more deliberately, and for the founders who need it most.

My mission is to make having a Thinking Partner as normal as having an accountant. So that no founder ever has to carry the weight of their business entirely in their own head, with nowhere to properly put it down or think it through.

Work with me

There are two ways to work with me. Both create the consistent thinking space that makes the difference.

A small group for women founders who are ready to stop surviving their weeks and start leading them.

You'll have consistent, structured space to think — every week, not just when things get critical. Decisions get made. Things move forward. Friday evening actually feels like Friday evening.

Three months. Maximum eight founders. Currently welcoming founding members.

What it’s like to work with me

"Working with Annette was like having a second brain alongside me. She had an ability to listen across all of that, spot patterns, and help me make sense of it in a way that was clear and actionable. It helped me articulate my work more clearly, secure funding, and bring projects to life that might otherwise have stayed in my head."

Suzanne Alleyne, Cultural Thinker & Founder, Alleyne&

"Like having a very attentive sounding board who lets you discover things you actually already know but can't see at the moment."

1:1 Client, Senior Academic

"Annette has a way of asking just the right question to make you consider something from a different angle. The sessions seemed to set something in me in motion, and ideas and solutions to problems would pop up frequently between our meetings without me trying."

Liz Pagett, Data & Insight Consultant

"It was so useful to have someone impartial and supportive to talk things through with. In just an hour I left with much more clarity about my priorities — in the end it helped make a difficult decision feel simple."
